Our very first takeaway session was with UT Kirin on top of Gene’s roof in San Francisco. Since we graduated from Davis, my friends and I had talked endlessly about getting together and shooting again but nothing ever came of it. After about a year and a half I grew restless enough to change that, so I got Gene and Jack together to start producing takeaway sessions for local bands.
